Ways we are helping

We believe that talking about mental health and suicide is crucial in breaking the stigma surrounding these topics. We are committed to raising awareness and supporting suicide prevention efforts in our community, state, country, and the world. Join us in making it easier to talk about mental health and breaking the silence around suicide.

Prevention and Education

Prevention and education programs are crucial in reducing the high rate of suicide. We are committed to making a positive impact in our community by raising awareness about mental health. Our partnership with Emma Benoit and the "My Ascension" team has allowed us to bring her powerful message to many in Laramie County. With our community license, we can set up screenings for interested groups and continue to spread awareness to other communities in Wyoming if requested.

Scholarships

Cowboy Cole Memorial Foundation is committed to making a positive impact in our community. Our Scholarship program offers young adults the chance to compete for scholarship funds by sharing their views on how to address the challenges we face with Wyoming's high suicide rate. We believe that by investing in the education of our youth, we can create a brighter future for our community.

Contact Andrea to learn more about her services.

Partnering with other Non-Profits

Cowboy Cole is proud to be an ambassador for the Jae Foundation, a non-profit organization that helps raise funds and awareness for suicide prevention. One of our current initiatives is the Boots for Seniors program, which aims to provide cowboy boots to graduating seniors at Burns High School and Pine Bluffs High School in 2024. We are working hard to raise funds and reach out to local families and businesses to make this event an ongoing success, and hope to expand the program to all seniors in Laramie County in 2025.

Laramie County Grief Support and Loss Team

Cole's high school friends and new friends from the Adopt an Airman Program at FE Warren Air Force base have formed a dodgeball team for the annual fundraiser for Laramie County Grief Support and Loss Team for the last two years. This event serves a dual purpose of supporting a much-needed service in our community and creating opportunities for community members to bond and volunteer. The Cowboy Cole team placed second last year and is determined to win this year's competition on April 6, 2024, at Archer!
